This is brilliant, Marc and Gary.

I would add one more layer to this which is the confluence of class, money, power as a complex adaptive system which utilizes the pathology of powerful individuals, as described in "Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World" by Anand Giridharadas

RE “They got you fighting a culture war to stop you from fighting a class war”: they got you focused on fighting a class war to prevent you from fighting the Pathocracy. Psychopaths infest every level of society, although they are not evenly distributed among every demographic and every socioeconomic class. The huge problem isn’t socioeconomic class, in my opinion. It’s power and the psychopaths who are drawn to power.

“All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible. - Missionaria Protectiva, Text QIV (decto)” — “Chapterhouse: Dune” by Frank Herbert

Dang it, I can't undo the removal of your other reply. I found the reply in my moderator settings but it doesn't allow me to undo it. I'm going to paste it here because I feel bad for accidentally censoring you haha

I found a meme that spoke volumes to me. It went “When you give your full trust to someone, you either get a friend for life or a lesson in life.”

From my research — and I have no idea as to how accurate versus (fatally) flawed the research is — genetic (aka essential aka naturally born) psychopaths comprise approximately 6% of the population. (It might have been much lower when our populations were limited to hunter-gatherer groups, but the power hierarchy which emerged after the Neolithic Revolution culturally selected for psychopathy AND psychopaths seem to seek out their own for interbreeding purposes AND psychopathic males seem to biologically reproduce at slightly higher rates than non-psychopaths.) Sociopaths, however, learn their behaviors — which make them willing henchmen (and women) to the psychos. Then we have the malignant narcissists and those born with (or having acquired) borderline personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder.

My point? Perhaps your “favorite people” weren’t born psychopaths. Maybe they learned psychopathic traits and became sociopaths.

Just continue to do your best at exposing evil (or whatever word which works best for you) wherever and in whom ever you discover it.

Cheers!

1 year ago, I’d call you crazy and tell you you’re over reacting because some of them are good people. Today, I 1000% agree with them being Psychopaths - it is now obvious to me that these people don’t care about you, me, or humanity. 6 months ago Elon Musk and Alex Stein were 2 of my favorite people who inspired me to speak up - now I’ve learned they’re full of shit and I fell for a hustle. Oh well, I’m thankful for the lesson.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply! That meme is spot on! I give people trust up front and let them break it, because I want to live my life trusting people instead of always thinking they're out to get me. Once you break my trust, I'm done and move on. I don't hold a grudge, I just don't care to be around people I can't trust. I want to be me in an environment I can trust, it's really not that hard to understand, lol.

2020 - early 2023, I was upset and mad at people. 2023 is when I realized the system is designed to put good people in bad situations - it's not people's fault they're playing the game, it's the Elite's in the world that are the psychopaths because they've designed the system to screw us all over.

I'm laser focused on exposing the system and whoever/whatever else I come across in my journey that is profiting from lying and destroying America.

Peace! (I miss saying that)
