Lesson Learned: Verify Stories Better Before Using Them as My Source
T-Mobile isn't charging consumers or businesses for text messages
After further review, the story I reacted to was not the full picture. Bandwidth is a company that provides automated communications solutions for businesses. T-Mobile isn’t charging consumers fines for text messages - T-Mobile is charging the “Bandwidth” company.
I got too excited seeing a well known journalist expose something T-Mobile related and I jumped on it. I’m new at this and I’m going to make mistakes as I learn, but I promise to own my mistakes and be honest, open, and transparent about my journalism and story telling.

I like this post for two reasons.
First, you admitted you were wrong. That demonstrates strength. The weak pretend they're always right.
Second, you avoided the trap of what I call 'maximalism'. You are a sworn enemy of T-Mobile, but at the same time you don't want to accuse it of what it hasn't actually done. You pursue justice, not hatred. Reality, not rage for crimes both real and fictional.
