Yesterday was a big day for me, I was recognized by an accomplished journalist
Speaking Truth Today Is Not Easy
I knew what I was getting myself into, but I didn’t anticipate it to be this difficult. I didn’t think my best friends wouldn’t support me, I didn’t think my family wouldn’t support me, and I didn’t think I’d be suspended on X for 55 days.
While the people closest to me distance themselves from me, I kept going, I kept pushing, I kept believing in myself, and I was thankful for the signs from God telling me to keep going. My last day employed was my 17 year anniversary, my video to Elon was 4:44, and I got my X account back after 55 days and it had 555 followers.
Some people may say those signs are a coincidence, and maybe they are, but my guess that was God’s way of telling me to keep going because he knew I was fighting an uphill battle.
On January 4, 2024, I Broke Through!
I’ve been grinding hard for this moment since my first tweet on September 4, 2023.
For those that don’t know, Lara Logan is a well known, accomplished, investigative journalist. Lara has been a journalist since 1988, she was CBS’ Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent from 2006 to 2018, and she joined FOX Nation in 2020 but was ultimately dropped in 2022. Lara isn’t scared to go against mainstream narratives which is why she’s no longer on mainstream media. Lara’s X bio: “Nobody owns me. I’ll Never Forget January 4, 2024
January 4, 2024 is the day my journalism was validated, and I was vindicated for going against the grain and calling out corruption from the company I slaved for 17 years.
Lara was impressed with my story, she shared my story, she followed me, she said she liked me, and then she welcomed me to the world of journalism!
I bet on myself, I trusted myself, I stayed positive and kept pushing forward, and I’m now recognized as a legitimate journalist.
